Returning to Oblivion with Blackwood

The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood expansion pack is out for the PC platform, along with iconic locations that fans of TES IV: Oblivion will recognize.

Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood will take the lead role of ZeniMax and Bethesda’s Gates of Oblivion saga announced last month and will take players to Oblivion. This new expansion comes packed full and opens the door to new stories for players. Blackwood will feature a new region, 30 hours of new story content, new companions system and more. The new information published by the company regarding the release of this expansion package is as follows;

The Elder Scrolls Online: Oblivion gates open

Today we are excited to release a brand new chapter of the ESO legend; The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood is now playable for all PC/MAC and Stadia players. This episode features over 30 hours of story content to explore in the stunning new Blackwood location, along with iconic locations that fans of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will recognize. The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood launches June 8 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will come out.

As part of our year-round Gates of Oblivion main story, in The Blackwood Chapter, players must uncover daedric plots and vicious conspiracies that consume the region. Discover how these conspiracies are linked to the Prince of Destruction and his gruesome plans for Tamriel. While Blackwood is a story on its own, the events inside will also advance the quest for the Gates of Oblivion, which will conclude later in 2021.

Returning to Oblivion with The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood

The brand new Companions System is coming soon, designed to ensure that players never again feel alone in their adventures, whether playing alone or with friends. You can choose one of two new Companions that you will unlock through certain missions of the Blackwood main story. You can then choose your own playstyle by choosing the equipment of these Companions and leveling up their abilities. Each Companion has their own personality, likes and dislikes, and unique questlines. And without forgetting; be careful what you do, for your actions will affect your harmony with your Companion.
