MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 chipset consists of eight-core Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz.
MediaTek, one of the stars of the mobile chip market, introduced the Dimensity 900 chipset consisting of eight-core Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores. A cropped version of the flagship Dimensity 1100 chipset Dimensity 9002 speeds 2.4GHz customized by ARM Cortex-A78 based Kryo 585, 6 speeds at 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 based processor cores is formed. Located on the GPU side Arm Mali-G68 MC4 The mobile graphics processor also supports up to 4-cluster and 120Hz displays at 1080p resolution.
Dimensity 900 chipset comes with Mali-G68 graphics processor
The chipset, which can be connected to two 5G networks at the same time, allows for recording 108MP resolution photos and 4K resolution 30FPS video in addition to LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage standard. The chipset, which has better photo processing capabilities as well as battery consumption, offers better scene optimization thanks to its advanced sensors. In addition to the performance upgrades, the Dimensity 900 chipset supports its camera-side capabilities with long battery life over a fast and reliable connection.
It has not yet been announced on which devices the chipset will be located first.
